Thinking about commissioning a piece?
Whether it’s a piece for your home, a mural for your business or a digital artwork for a publication, here’s what you need to know.
-
If you’re interested in a commission, all you need to do is drop me a line! Most periods of the year I am available for commissions. They can take up to two months to complete, depending on other commitments.
It helps if you provide me an idea of the designs you like and your budget. Feel free to send any screenshots of my previous artworks that you like.
-
Once I have an idea of your budget and the style you like, I will discuss with you some things you can expect from the process. This will be things like my availability and a refined price range.
I will prepare a digital mockup (or several, in different colourways) to give you an idea of what the final artwork will look like.
-
Once you have seen the mockup, you are welcome to customise the design in whatever way you wish. I will usually prepare a final mockup with final colours for your review.
-
Once we have a final design, I will start work on the commissioned artwork! I will send you regular updates and keep you in the loop about timing of the finished product.
All commissions undergo protective varnishing to ensure they are protected for transport and to ensure they have a long life.
-
Once the artwork is finished, we can figure out whether the artwork will be delivered or picked up from my studio in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
While I prefer to avoid external shipping providers for extra large artworks (such as AusPost, Aramex and the like - due to possiblity of damage to your artwork), we can have a discussion about what works for you.
